New Admin Service Provider:
As FICS moves forward and implements its new Strategic Plan it will slowly make changes to the organisational structure to accommodate our growth aspirations. As a result of these required changes and as a consequence of the contract with our current provider coming to an end, FICS held a Request for Proposal (RFP) process over the last 3 months to identify a suitable Admin/Finance/Marketing service provider for the next 3 to 5 years.
After an extensive evaluation process of a number of high quality organisations, Corranga Pty Ltd (Trish Donoghue the Managing Director) was selected as our new service provider. Trish Donoghue who has more than 15 years’ experience in managing administrative, finance and marketing services for sports related organisations as well as experience in the sports medicine sector. She is also supported by a resource with extensive experience in the social media domain which will greatly assist us in lifting the profile of FICS on the global stage.
What does this mean to you?
One of the key activities of FICS is the provision of sports chiropractic services at international events. This helps to service our vision of access to sports chiropractic for all athletes, as well as opening opportunities for relationships with various sporting federations. In order to fulfil this area of activity, FICS relies on sports chiropractors taking time out of their practice and volunteering their time to treat athletes at these events. FICS is not in a position whereby we can pay our members to attend events. It is, however, important to recognise the service of the valuable people contributing in this way.
